    Dr. Debasish Banerjee

    Debasish is an experienced theatre director and a writer and actor in theatre, television, and films. Amongst his works, he has acted in ‘City of Joy’ ( directed by Ronald Joffe) and written and acted in a six-episode telefilm, ‘Naquaab ‘(The Mask’) for Zee TV, India. He has been the writer-director for theatre productions for Eastern Thespians, United Kingdom, one of which, ‘Uttoradhikaar (The Inheritance)’, was performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to critical and public acclaim.  ‘The Unexpected’ is his debut film as the writer-director. Other than his artistic accomplishments,  Debasish is a Consultant Radiologist working in the United Kingdom.

  • Dr. Chandrayee Sengupta, Eastern Thespians Wimbledon

    Dr. Chandrayee Sengupta

    Chandrayee is an experienced theatre actress. Chandrayee has acted as the female lead in many theatre productions of Eastern Thespians, United Kingdom. She is also trained in Indian classical dance forms. Chandrayee makes her debut as a producer and film actor in ‘The Unexpected’. Other than her artistic accomplishments, Chandrayee is a Consultant Paediatrician working in the United Kingdom.

    Gairik is a seasoned technical lead in the IT industry based in the United Kingdom with a parallel passion for photography and cinematography. He has worked on photography and cinematography projects at a professional level, earning recognition for his technical excellence and artistic approach. Beyond his technical acumen in software development, Gairik brings a cinematic eye, creative sensibility, and technical expertise to visual storytelling. His contributions to the technical aspects of ‘The Unexpected’ have been remarkable, making him a vital part of the creative journey of Eastern Thespians Wimbledon.

    Ayan Bhattacharjee

    Ayan is a technology consultant by profession based in the United Kingdom. Ayan is also a theatre practitioner and an avid enthusiast of visual arts with a particular interest in cinema. Ayan is interested in the artistic and technical aspects of cinema and enthusiastic about innovative and thought-provoking projects. He has been an integral member of Eastern thespians, Wimbledon, and has actively contributed to both the artistic and production aspects of  ‘The Unexpected’.
